Bike Crash!
Sep. 29th, 2006 05:14 amToday, while I was heading to Calc, it was rush hour and I was stuck behind a ... large, Asian boy who could barely steer his bike. In my hast, I tried to pull ahead by slipping between him and the curb and to my great misfortune, the great lump decided to loose control of his vehicle and swerved right. At. Me. The oaf!
I sound angry, don't I?
I should be, as the I was the idiot disconnected my rear brakes and warped my front wheel. The repairs come to a total of $50 dollars. Fifty dollars! On my second day of school!
To make it worse, I apologized for trying to squeeze past him after becoming a cushion for the lowlife from the concrete curb. Jerk.
As if the situation wasn't bad enough, waiting for the Bike Barn employee to take a look at my bike made me one of the last ones to get to class. Then I had to travel by foot for a long, long time. And I will continue to do so until next Thursday.
