animeartistjoFirst, I finally decided on where to go on summer vacation and managed to convince my school that no matter what, I WILL take a week off.
I'll be going to China from August 5th through the 16th. My friend and I are hoping to avoid taking a tour, so has anyone traveled China without a tour? My friend's Caucasian, and while I can understand Cantonese, I can't speak much, read, or write it.
