I'm on page 53 of mylifeisaverage.com and there is so much awesome that I need to save my favorites.

Today, I came home to my mom scowling, my dad smirking, and my little sister grinning. Apparently, my sister got into a fight with a fellow 5th grader, saying that the Beatles pwned the Jonas Brothers. My sister and the girl argued until my sister tackled her while yelling, "I am the walrus! Goo goo g'joob!" I have never before felt like such a positive influence to my siblings. MLIA

Today I was at a cross country meet. A pair of twins were way ahead of everyone else at exactly the same speed as one another. A few feet before the finish line, they did 'rock paper scissors' to decide who would get to cross first. MLIA.

(makes me wish I was acquainted with some twins)

Today, I saw a member of the marching band beat up a guy on the football team. I've never been more proud to be a member of the marching band. MLIA
(moderator of FML.com later saw the jock's post of this on their site)

Today at work one of my co-workers and I got very bored. He made a comment in Spanish, I replied with an angry tone in Japanese. We got into a very heated argument. Neither of us knew what the other was saying. It made my night. MLIA.
(fic idea!)

Today, I was bored so I was looking at a firewire cable my dad had brought home for our new computer. In small print it read "If you need to detain a burglar until the authorities arrive, this firewire cable can render approximately three perpetrators immobile when properly hog tied". I'm really glad Geek Squad is watching out for my personal safety. MLIA

Today, I was eating in my college cafeteria with some other Freshman theater majors. Food of some Asian origin was being served and, of course, fortune cookies. One guy opened his fortune cookie and read out loud "you will soon be the center of attention". The guy sitting next to him stood up, and to the crowded cafeteria loudly announced, "excuse me, will everyone please look at this kid" and every head within hearing turned to look. He said "thank you" and sat down. I think I'm going to like these people. MLIA

Today, my know-it-all university professor said, "Was is always a verb". I then raised my hand and said, "It's a noun in that sentence...". Never before have I felt so cool. MLIA

Today, my mother, my grandmother and I were stripping old wallpaper out of the downstairs bathroom; I was the only one not ruining the walls. My mom said, "At least you know if writing doesn't work out you can be a..." and paused to think of the profession. My grandmother filled it in: "stripper." I love my grandma.
(As an English major, I find this one particularly relevant)

Today, my drumline had a drum battle with another marching band's drumline. When the other school was done, they threw their drum sticks down, acting all hard core. My drumline stole their sticks and ran away. I'm pretty sure we won. MLIA

Today, my little brother came home with a story that he wrote in preschool. The story was about him and my dad fishing so he titled it "My Dad the Hooker". MLIA

Today, I realized that the two main characters in the Veggie Tales, the tomato and the cucumber, are actually fruits. Now I don't know what to believe. MLIA
(me neither)

Today I was shopping in the dishware aisle when a thirty-something-year-old man ran past at full tilt as though his life depended on it. Ten seconds later a 3-year-old ran past, waving a plastic pirate sword and yelling "Aaarrrrrr!". You go little guy, you go. MLIA
(just cuuuteee~~!)

Today, I saw a middle school teacher herding his class down the halls with a pointer-stick and shouting "Feeding time, you animals!" The entire class was making animal sounds. MLIA.
(if I end up teaching, I want to do this)

Today, my friend and I decided to have a lemonade stand. The UPS guy stopped by a bought a glass (which is also awesome). Later it was slow and the FedEX guy drove by. My friend yelled at him to buy some lemonade and he ignored her, I yelled "THE UPS GUY BOUGHT SOME!". The FedEX truck flipped a U-Turn and bought two glasses of lemonade. MLIA

Today, I deliberately parked my car next to another one of the same colour and model. By the time I got back from the shops, there were four lined up, all the same. I like knowing that people who drive the same car as me think in the same way too. MLIA.

Today my new roomate - who doesn't talk much - brought home a Twilight poster and stuck it up on her wall. I was extremely disappointed until she brought out a set of darts. We spent the next two and a half hours poking holes in the poster.. It. Was. Awesome. MLIA
(pure awesomesauce--wish I could've done it with [livejournal.com profile] snahjerblah's poster, but she would've killed me)

Ahhh... Now I'm on page 92. ^_______________^
