Icon-love.

Saw an icon with so much WIN today. Text on plain gray background, last two lines in pink:
face it, girl
prince charming isn't coming.
He's living with
MR. RIGHT

Now I'm thinking about writing a slash short story for the seminar. The teacher outright said that this will be an "A for effort" type class, so I doubt the subject matter will effect my grade much is she turns out to be homophobic. ^___^

I love that icon.

I wonder if I can get away with writing a story about it for class? Think it would fit under contemporary fiction? ;D

DOOOOO IT!

As long as you stick it in a modern setting, you can tell her that gay love and the search for Mr. Right are 'contemporary themes.' Which is total bullshit, but professors love it. XD

Especially English profs. Luckily for me!

Would urban fantasy qualify as contemporary? Because I owe Tygati a winged-thing drabble. XD In bookstores, most shelves labeled contemporary are mundane, so I'm not sure...
