I HAVE NO INTERNETS!

So, uh, I used to chuckle in amusement whenever one of you lovely people cried from lack of internet access.

I will never giggle like that again.

This weekend, when trying to hook up a wireless printer to my 6-year-old router, I somehow messed up my Vista laptop so badly that while it connects to other wireless networks (my friend's, the campus), I still cannot browse the web. I can only log on at school in between classes and that's really not enough. T_T

I haven't played Bejeweled Blitz in more than 48 hours! I haven't been on Gaia even longer!

*shakes fist at darkestnight12* You HAD to get a wireless printer, did you? Did you just let my numerous rants of my craptastic router wash right over you? T^T

Uh-huh. And you know how long ago this post was? I've upgraded to windows 7, which rocks btw, and so my internet's back online, but I don't want to risk messing up AGAIN, so I'm just waiting for Thanksgiving when I can come home and pick up a USB cable or whatever. I cannot WAIT to have a scanner of my own. I can scan projects for my portfolio!

BTW, what on earth does Aunt L think I'm doing besides classes? I was thinking about doing a month abroad and she was talking about my not earning enough money or something--you know I make about 3k each year, right? I know we can't afford it, but she thinks I still work at McDonald's? ^^;;

She hasn't told the 'rents I was foolish enough to think about traveling abroad, has she?

Um...what?! I didn't bring up any of this about Aunt L in my comment besides that she's giving us her old printer. Everything else is between the two of you.

I thought you already told the 'rents about wanting to travel abroad though?
