I (aka Mom) got myself a job! In retail!
Started my job at the Banana Peel kiosk in Oakridge. Am selling flip-flops of various styles. Today, I sold 7, working from 11-7. I got my own set of keys and everything! Essentially, I get paid $7 a hour to study and greet people. Vera nice.
Roach could've taken the 3-hour evening shift on the weekdays, but began crying when Mom pushed the matter. Said she has Xenophobia, so I told her she needed to see a psychiatrist, and Mom actually offered to call our insurance and see if they covered it. Funny.
It was either retail (back to the job thingie) or Orange Julius and I'd much rather go through the pain of dressing nicely everyday than the use my hands nonstop the entire shift.
Our Internet has been down the past 1-2 weeks. Vera annoyed.
